Punch Pien kasvatusominaisuudet: nauti suurista sadoista vain 9 viikossa

Kommentti : I popped this one beginning of March, along with a few other strains as part of my summer grow. So far this punch pie seems to be my champion. Stalked much thicker than my other plants like it’s gearing up to support a large grow. I will try and circle back with another review in the fall.

Set up:
-Lights: VIPARSPECTRA P600 dimmable full spectrum LED 100w (~60€)
-Soil: 15 liter pots filled with a mix of BioBizz LightMix soil and generic coco soil (ratio 3:1)
-Nutrients: BioBizz RootJuice, BioGrow, TopMax, BioBloom, CalMag, Microbes using their own Nutrient Schedule (~60-80€; schedule available online for free)
-pH-correction: using store bought organic lemon juice in combination with ECENCE pH-indicator strips (~7€ for 100 strips)
-Tent: none. I just hung the lamps on an extendable cloth rack on one side of my living room and aired said living room twice a day.
Methods:
-Topping: above the fourth node (week 4 of veg)
-Defoliation: removed excessive leaves that were overshadowing each other for better light penetration (week 5, 7 and 9 of veg)
-LST: tied down all branches using standard kitchen yarn for an even canopy
-Lollipopping: 1 week before flipping them from vegetative into flowering phase
-Light schedule: 18/6 in vegetative phase for 9 weeks & 12/12 in flowering phase for 9 weeks as well
Troubles:
-retrospectively I overdid the lollipopping a bit, since over time the plant let go of some leaves here and there, leaving here looking a little plucked towards the end of flower. I suspected either a nutrient problem or a pH-problem, so I flushed the plant with 10 liters of pH-corrected water and re-fed it according to schedule, which made the leave-dropping stop.
Further processing:
-Drying: for 7 days on a foldable drying net in a well ventilated room (~10€)
-Trimming: once dried, using standard plant scissors
-Storing: standard mason jars with Boveda 62% Hygro-packs (~0,90€) and a JEDEW mini hygrometer (~3€)
Results:
- 27 g of dried and cured herb.

Kommentti : I grew Punch Pie as part of my 2nd grow. This plant was a monster and took over most of my tent over shadowing the Fat Banana that was growing with it.
One plant yielded 5oz. What I liked about this is that it tasted good right from the 1st cut. I like to pull a couple of buds to the side to sample when I harvest and start drying. I did let the little cutting dry before smoking but it was really good before the cure. It gets better with curing.
The effect is strong. As a daily smoker it takes a lot to have any affect on me but this strain does a pretty good job of keeping me level. There are times where it will make me a little lazy. For the novice smoker, I have seen this strain knock them right out.
This strain has a really nice flavor. Fruity among others. 1st hit is amazing, even from the fresh cut.
I liked this so much I added it to my 3rd grow. This time I will try lollipopping and see if I can get bigger colas.

Kommentti : Vorige jaar juni 3 zaadjes gekregen van een nerderlandse vriendin. Eén zaadje geplant, gewoon in een grote bloempot op de vensterbank. Twee dagen later kwam er een klein scheutje piepen ... dat klein groen dingetje groeide uit tot een flinke geurige en blinkende meid met een reusachtige cola van wel 50cm en vele kleinere topjes. Rook echt naar kersenbloesem, zo fruitig. Eind november geoogst en wat een mooie oogst.
Dit was mijn eerste kweek in meer dan 30jaar. Wist ik veel over HP, lst of speciale voeding en toch zulke lekkere, smakelijke wiet.
Heb alles opgerookt nog voor het tijd had om te curen. Wat gaat dit lekker worden als ik alles volgens het boekje doe?
Heb dan ook direct opgezocht wat RQS was, en sindsdien ben ik fan #1 .

Kommentti : Keimrate kann ich nichts nachteiliges sagen. 4 Stunden ins Wasserglas, dann 2 Tage zwischen 2 Taschentücher und fertig. 4/4 gekeimt und das ohne Probleme. Schnuppert bereits in der Vegi wie ne ganz große und wächst einfach wie Unkraut :) allerdings ne ganz schöne zicke. Ist jetzt auf Blüte umgestellt, mal schauen was da noch kommt :)

Kommentti : Herausragendes Weed, im Anbau nicht ganz unkompliziert, dafür ist das Endergebnis nach 6 Wochen aushärten, eine epische Raucherfahrung.
Geschmack, Geruch, Wirkung und auch Ertrag ist kaum zu verbessern.
Einzig im Grow empfand ich sie als nicht ganz anspruchslos was die Care Arbeit angeht.

Kommentti : Absolutely the BEST TASTING BUD I have grown from here so far. Not sure what the photos were about- my plant was ROYAL PURPLE. The buds are ROYAL PURPLE. The taste is that of royalty. The high will make you think you are royalty. Only buds here that barely come close in the flavor category are: Apple Fritter, Royal Critical (Auto), and Lemon Shining Silver Haze.
